My Solo Writing Retreat!

My two-day drive from Reunion, FL to Treasure Lake, PA lasted 20 hours. I arrived at 7:30 pm last night; this beautiful sunset welcomed me home.

My writing goal for this retreat is to finish book 3, Island Hideout, of the series, The Dragon Legend of the Boy King, and if time permits, I will work on my Lady Sam series.

The drive through PA was spectacular. I had almost forgotten the beauty of my home state. Purple blossoms lined the winding Appalachian mountains and spring grasses filled the farmers' fields.

I talked to God and listened to Joseph Prince's YouTube sermons during my trip, scribbling notes as I listened. My creative juices flowed, and I practically plotted an entire children's splotch bird story—which wasn't my intention!

I want to give a shout-out to Tom, Gordy, and Snowy, who graciously welcomed me into their campsite in Virginia. They prepared a delicious Bubba burger dinner replete with home-made baked beans and roasted marshmallows.

It's now time to write. As always, thank you for reading.
